IOGKFNZ South Island Blackbelt camp and grading.

When:
Friday 24th September 6- 7.30pm
Saturday 25th September 10-12 1-5
Sunday 26th September 10-12 1-3

Where;
Friday and Saturday Training is at the Dunedin South Presbyterian Church Hall, 393 King
Edward Street, South Dunedin. A variety of cafes including Japanese close by for lunch.
Sunday Training will be at Dunedin College of Education Dance Studio, at the College of
Education Gymnasium, 145 Union Street close to Forsyth Barr Stadium. The entrance to this
space is off Union Street, and it will be clearly signposted. Showers and a nice café are on
site or close by.

Dan Grading;
The Dan Grading will be held during the Saturday afternoon’s session.
Training will take place for other participants. It is expected that Dojo Instructors will be
present if they have candidates grading, or to have made some other arrangements.
Please email Sensei Blair or Sensei John to let them know if you have a candidate
grading before 17th September.
This is important. Grading candidates who have not registered their intention may not be
allowed to grade otherwise.

Cost;
Registration 9.30 to 10 prior to training on Saturday
The cost for all participants is $75 for the full weekend, payable to Otago University Dojo.
Instructors please note, the focus of the weekend is for Blackbelt tuition, so we can
continue to advance our own Karate practise.
Please only bring those Brown belts who are actually grading at the event.
