Great news – There will be a dedicated juniors training camp in Wellington, to be run in parallel with the visit by Sensei Torben on 16-17th September at Ākau Tangi (ASB Centre), Kilbirnie, Wellington.

This is an excellent opportunity for the juniors to come together for specific training suited to their ages, off to one side of the seniors’ training session.

Therefore they get to participate in training with Sensei Torben, but also have targeted instruction focused on their next kata, self defence applications for their next grading, learn how to break fall (and one or two sweeps, which are always fun….), score points in tournament karate, and have a lot of fun in the process.

These events really help our kids develop their skills, make friends, and get them even more fired-up about karate!

Venue: Ākau Tangi Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington

Date: 16 – 17 September 2023

Training Schedule:

Saturday 11.45am registration
Saturday 12:00 – 2:30pm all grades
Sunday 9:30am to 12pm all Grades
There will be short food & water breaks throughout the day. There is a café onsite.

Fees:

Standard rate: Kids $50 (for both 16th & 17th Sept).
1 day fee ($30 kids).
Family – $100 (2+ kids)
Early Bird Registration: Cut-off date for early bird registration: 10th of
September 2023
