South Island Black Belt Camp & Grading

Friday 23rd August 6-7:30pm
Saturday 24th August, 10-12am, 1-5pm
Sunday 25th August, 10-12am, 1-3pm

Where;
Training for all three days will be at Unipol Gymnasium, University Plaza, next
to Forsyth Barr Stadium. The entrance to this space is off Anzac Avenue, and
is clearly signposted. Showers and a nice café are on site. Our time though
is limited to our scheduled time as there will be other bookings.

Dan Grading;
The Dan Grading will be held during the Saturday afternoon’s session.
Training will take place for other participants. It is expected that Dojo
Instructors will be present if they have candidates grading, or to have made
some other arrangements. Please email Sensei Blair or Sensei John to let
them know if you have a candidate grading before June 14th. This is
important. Grading candidates who have not registered their intention may
not be allowed to grade otherwise.
Those Dan grading candidates who have registered will be notified of when
the pre-grading clinic will be held. Fee schedule will be sent to those who
register their students prior to the event.

Cost;
The cost for all participants is $85 for the full weekend, payable to Otago
University Dojo on Friday night or Saturday morning prior to training.
Instructors please note, the focus of the weekend is for Blackbelt tuition, so
we can continue to advance our own Karate practise. Please only bring those
Brown belts who are actually grading at the event.
